Named after my great-grandmother’s nickname, “Flo Belle,” Florabelle is a tribute to the wisdom passed down through generations of kitchens and culture. With a background in artisan cooking, teaching, and sustainable food systems, I’ve come to see food as one of our most powerful tools for connection.

My own healing journey deepened that belief — reminding me that nourishment is about more than what’s on the plate. Through Florabelle, I craft seasonal, intentional meals that invite people to slow down, savor, and feel truly cared for.

I’ve always loved plants for their ability to bring both flavor and nourishment to every dish. Through my studies in Sustainable Food & Agriculture and Ayurvedic herbalism, I’ve developed a deep respect for the medicinal properties of fruits, vegetables, and herbs—not just for our bodies, but for the ecosystem as a whole. That love has evolved into a commitment to ingredient integrity. I care deeply about where my food comes from, sourcing seasonally and partnering with vendors who prioritize regenerative farming whenever possible. In my kitchen, creativity meets consciousness: I cook with intention, using every part of an ingredient from root to stem, composting what’s left into nutrient-rich soil. Whether I’m sharing tips for enhancing home cooking with a garden and spice rack, or crafting a seasonal meal for an event, my approach is grounded in care—for people, plants, and the planet.
